So dedicated servers are apparently back, but packet loss makes the game just as unplayable as before.
Wanted to check in on how people are doing connection-wise on this game. I saw several posts talking about how the servers have been fixed, and we do appear to be back on dedicated servers. Getting into a game is as lightning-fast as it was back in August. I personally am experiencing major packet loss issues that make the revival of servers a total wash. It's taking 20 minutes to get into a game that will, for the most part, run fine (unless the host quits), or taking less than 15 seconds to get into a game that dumps packet every couple seconds. You tell me which one is preferable. But it could just be me and my silly old internet connection up to some hijinks, that's what I'm here to ask about. If it's just my connection, I'll take a break from the game until it stabilizes. And if it's a widespread issue, well I guess I'll take a break from the game until it stabilizes... lol. PSA: The $100 Ultimate Edition of bo4 is on sale for $40 on PS and it’s hella worth it
IF you don’t own the season pass. You get all the zombies content, a MKII MX9 that doesn’t look that good, some blackout stuff, etc The DLC maps for MP have not effected my matchmaking at all so honestly I really think that’s a myth, at least for this specific COD. I haven’t gotten any DLC lobbies yet though sadly. One of the best parts though, especially if you buy store bundles in the newer CODs or spend. OD points in general is: You literally get 3400 COD points with everything else I mentioned. I already “had” the game because it was/is free for PS+ members and I still received all 3400 COD points. You get 2400 immediately then when you launch BO4 you get another 1000. Along with 300 Nebula Plasma for Zombies. Really frustrated just bought this game
Saw this game with a discount on PS store and thought why not buy it. Little did I know that this game is basically unplayable. Lot of guns should be nerfed let alone the fact that you have to wait 10+ mins to find a game. Not to mention all of the disconnection issues. I've been playing BO3 before this and those servers are still more active than this game. Finally had some weeks of peace but barecoconuts is back
Anything we can do? Haven't been able to play for about a week, every time I log on he force joins my lobby and freezes me in-game, then switches to the other team (bc the lobbies are never full now) and kills me over and over. I can shoot, but can't move, and can't reload, so its like I'm in a permanent seeker-mine effect with the rest of my team all at once. I used to surrender for an hour and let him farm for scores, then I'd get some time to play, but im tired of it. Disconnection issues
Why is it that every time I attempt to do the Dead of the Night easter egg it Disconnects me EVERY SINGLE TIME. I have yet to complete it not even due to the fact of me ever dying but every time I get around the second lockdown sequence in the graveyard i either complete it and get to the fireplace step next but it always disconnects before the boss fight. Why do I like this game??
Treyarch purist, I put this game away for good when cold war came out, but my youngest kid resurrected it and I can’t put it down. The gun balance sucks, the perks suck, the specialist cheese is annoying, and the player base tends toward post-Fortnite chronic jumper SMG tweakers (no offense, I sometimes use that playstyle). Why am I hooked? I suspect it is the audio and feel of the hit markers and the death effect. I think it triggers the brain super hard and is very addictive. I'm struggling to find any lobbies with players when trying to play either domination or hardpoint, usually it isn't a problem at all to find people to play with, but it's like people abandoned it over night. Issue after redeeming BO4 code on battle.net
Hi, I bought BO4 via instant gaming I know the risks from buying from 3rd party retailers but I wanted to save some cash and try one of the only games i've never played. However after redeeming the code, Battle.net wouldn't let me install the game and was still showing "buy know" on the BO4 tab. Black Ops 4 Zombies crashing, combo split screen and online co op
So my wife and I play zombies split screen locally and connect online with our other couple friends who also play split screen local. It's worked with little to no issues for months now until recently. Constantly the game for the ones not hosting will crash always around rounds 10 to 15. I've tried reinstall, resetting routers, clearing caches, changing who hosts. Nothing seems to matter and it's always whoever is joining not the host. It's a straight to home page crash and a crash report comes up to send. Any thoughts on possible fixes or is this just the way it is currently? It's been happening earlier in the match lately it seems as well and every single time when it started out rarely. I recently downloaded COD 4 via battle net, and started getting into zombies. Then as I started playing I'd get crazy bugs like in the image. Some early on (Round 5) and later on (Round 19). I've gotten a couple of different types of bugs, but this is the most common. I've run various scans on it but it keeps saying it's fine. I played the Legion of Dawn edition when it first came out via EA play but eventually cancelled my subscription. I don't want to start that up again but I would like to hop back in the game with some friends at some point. Team Deathmatch being weird

Nerf Reznov requirement!
I don’t know when they nerfed the Mason requirements but they need to do the same for Reznov. I’m begging that the kill should just be a measly 100m, maybe 150 but I’m TIRED. I obviously know nothing will happen but I just had to rant as locking an achievement/trophy behind it is insane. How do you get reactive camos on DLC guns again
I forgot how this process works. On my old main I had Solar Flare on my VMP and DLC weapons - but on this account I only have it on my ICR and KN57. Bo4 pass confusion
So I just bought bo4 and realized to get other maps I need a dumb pass instead of choosing maps individually, however when I go on Xbox store description of the pass says it only comes with 2 mp maps and tag der toten. I started playing the game 2 days ago, and I do have the goal to finish the main campaigns alone since I am going through my backlog. As much as I enjoy the game, I personally think that it was made more for multiplayer than a solo player in a way that the swarm of enemies are just too much even for the easy mode. Just defeated [Campaign Finale Spoiler] yesterday and man…
WHAT A RUSH! That was awesome and actually difficult! The entire campaign itself was fun to play as well! But… It is so depressing on how much potential this game had… The lore was so captivating, and you aren’t forced to grind time and time again; Actually rewarding. The combat and movement is the best I’ve ever seen in a video game and THE LEGENDARY WEAPONS ARE SICK AS HELL! This probably would’ve been my favorite game if 2.0 came out and compete with my Destiny craze. BioWare… EA… I know you’ll never read this but please at least recognize us returning players. This game would’ve been worth the 60 dollars. Making the game free for a bit, creating a Next-Gen version, and adding Cross-Play would be a nice way to bring/introduce some players into this absolutely amazing game! Game won't start
Every time I click play, I was able to get to like the 4th cutscene where the freelancers are flying, then it crashed, I restarted the game and I got to the point where you choose Female voice or Male voice, then it crashed. Brief rant about new players
I love to see the new players show love but damn it I was pretty much a day one player. We needed y’all! Y’all listened to all the hate and the game didn’t get the updates it needed since EA saw it as a loss. Did the game have problems? Absolutely but not as bad as the internet made it out to be and now y’all can see that. I know can’t be too upset with you, vote with your wallet and all but damn. I played Anthem for the first time recently.
So i played Anthem game recently, and when i realized that 2.0 got canceled I was pretty bummed out, i loved the game so much, the combat was tight af, the javelins are really cool, The world is super immersive, and i even grew to love tarsis. I really hope they consider they hope Anthem 2.0 as this game has so much potential and its a shame to see it go to waste.
