Why do I like this game??

Treyarch purist, I put this game away for good when cold war came out, but my youngest kid resurrected it and I can’t put it down.

The gun balance sucks, the perks suck, the specialist cheese is annoying, and the player base tends toward post-Fortnite chronic jumper SMG tweakers (no offense, I sometimes use that playstyle). Why am I hooked?

I suspect it is the audio and feel of the hit markers and the death effect. I think it triggers the brain super hard and is very addictive. What do you guys think?
