Need some info

Ok, I just started playing this game last weekend and am enjoying it very much. For those of you who are curious I am playing as the Colossus. I prefer this type of Javelin because it is definitely my style. To elaborate I am a combat veteran that served in the Army and I was an M1-A1 Abrams Tank crew member. So being in a Javelin that allows me to be a walking tank taking A LOT of damage (almost as much as I am dishing out) is right in my comfort zone.

Now for the info I am seeking. Ok, so I first noticed we can customize our Javelins but it doesn't really look like I can get the look I want considering the "skin" I would like to have isn't obtainable. Is this something that rotates every so often or is there somewhere I can go to get the skin I want? Do I have to wait for the list to rotate so I can get it? What gives?

Legendary vs masterwork. What is the difference? Mind you, I am currently level 12 and am trying to boost my exp during stronghold missions so I can climb as high as I can. Now knowing that this is public and so many people do jump in either in the middle or towards the end (uncool move by the way) reducing my challenge achievements and my exp I could gain along with the medals I could be getting. Anyway, I am trying to find out if I should even care about the difference between the legendary or the masterwork.

Components, please tell me there is a bigger list than the two legendary components that I have.

I might have more questions later but I'll stick with this for now.
