BioWare Appreciation Post.
All the hype behind Unreal Engine 5 and these new ways of enhancing video games has really made think back to playing Anthem. I played from release until around 200 hours of gameplay. Quit a while back even before they called it quits for obvious reasons. But there’s still one thing I can never get over. The game is simply a work of art. It truly was beautiful, and the flying aspect was amazing.
BioWare did an amazing job with flight. That’s all that needs to be said, it was incredible I mean the response, the look, the feel, even fighting while hovering and flying in and around combat, it was the best aspect of the game for me.
So I’ve been watching some things here and there about Unreal Engine 5 and the worlds people have been building etc. There was 1 in particular about a Superman game and a comment was made about how no development company has really mastered that ability yet, to truly have a good Superman game and that really got me thinking.
First I thought your right there hasn’t really been Superman games that were that good, he’s just modded into other games lol. But then I remembered playing Anthem and being able to fly around and how good it was. I think BioWare did a damn good job with flight mechanics.
That’s it just wanted to give them appreciation for making a good flying experience.
I had so much fun playing this game in the beginnings. Can’t wait for something else like it in the future.
