Should I get the Black Ops Pass?

I’d like to get the Black Ops Pass, but I don’t want to get put into a smaller group of players since most people probably don’t have it. Will i be put into separate matchmaking if I get it?

I’m also going to wait for a sale if I do decide to get it.

Edit: should probably mention I’m mainly getting it for multiplayer, but I also play zombies.
